love. . . . or so we thought!?

There was
a blind girl who hated herself because she was blind.

She
hated everyone, except her loving boyfriend.
He was always
there for her.

She told her boyfriend, "If I could only see
the world, then will I marry you."

One day,
someone donated a pair of eyes to her.
When the bandages
came off, she was able to see everything, including her
boyfriend.

He asked
her,"Now that you can see the world, will you marry me?" The
girl looked at her boyfriend and saw that he was blind.

The
sight of his closed eyelids shocked her.
She hadn't expected
that.

The thought of looking at them the rest of her life
led her to refuse to marry him.

Her
boyfriend left in tears and days later wrote a note to her
saying: "Take good care of your eyes, my dear, for before
they were yours, they were mine."

This is
how the human brain often works when our status changes.

Only a very few remember what life was like before, and who
was always by their side in the most painful situations.

Today
before you say an unkind word - Think of someone who can't
speak.

Before
you complain about the taste of your food - Think of someone
who has nothing to eat.

Before
you complain about your husband or wife - Think of someone
who's crying out to GOD for a companion.

Today
before you complain about life - Think of someone who went
too early to heaven.

Before
whining about the distance you drive Think of someone who
walks the same distance with their feet.

And when
you are tired and complain about your job - Think of the
unemployed, the disabled, and those who wish they had your
job.

And when
depressing thoughts seem to get you down - Put a smile on
your face and think: you're alive and still
around.

I am so super stressed about this trip! It has been stressing me out since i started thinking about it!!!
First it was money and i just figured that out today.... Now it's Jillian....
She is such a handful now that she can walk she doesn't want to be held or restrained! So now that is just super stressful thinking about it!
Then getting her stuff out there is going to be such a pain in the butt. . . . car seat, clothes, stroller, food, bottles, diapers, blankets and freaking toys!!!
I can only bring one suitcase!!!
Then i have to pack my stuff!
clothes, shoes, make-up, hair dryer and flat iron!!!!
oh good lord!!!!

Someone will always be smarter. Their house will be bigger. They will drive a better car. Someone may have more luck and money than you. So let it go and love you and your circumstances. Think about it. The prettiest woman in the world can have hell in her heart. And the most highly favored person may be unable to have children or produce one. The richest person you know - has the car, the house, the clothes and could probably land any person they choose - but they might be heartbreakingly lonely or depressed as Hell. So, love you. Love who you are right now and where you are in the world. Because the more you dwell on things you dont have you might miss out on the things you do. Whatever happens in your life, Good or Bad, never loose control of your emotions. It can break you or MaKe you. To the world you might be one person, but to that one person you just might be the world.

VERY DELICIOUS OATMEAL CHOCOLATE CHIP COOKIES!

INGREDIENTS

1 cup butter
3/4 cup packed brown sugar
1/4 cup white sugar
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon baking soda
1/4 cup boiling water
2 cups quick cooking oats
1/2 cup raisins (optional)
1 1/2 cups semisweet chocolate chips

DIRECTIONS

Beat butter or margarine, sugars and vanilla until light and fluffy. Add flour and salt, mix well.
Dissolve baking soda in boiling water and add to mixture. Stir in rolled oats, raisins and chocolate chips.
Drop by teaspoonful onto ungreased cookie sheet. Bake at 350 degrees F (175 degrees C) for 10-12 minutes. Don't over cook. (There are no eggs in this recipe, I didn't forget to type it down).
